Just Sitting Around...

Hi Everyone,

You can always tell when its spring in Texas, because of the little things like storms, wind, and hot temperatures. You gotta love it when you can't see because you have hair in your face. I've also been busy studying and getting ready for the big tests coming up.

The card I made today is based on the wonderful things I love about spring, like flowers, bright colors, and the nice sunny days when you can go outside and hang with your friends. This card reminds me of when I was a little girl sitting in my backyard picking my favorite flowers from my garden to give to my mom.

I used copics and some of my favorite colored\designer papers. I tried my best to blend the colors because it was the first time I used this many colors on one small part of the image. Thanks again Kelly for the cute images they always inspire me to try a new way to color them.

Say Cheese!!

Hi Everyone!

Wow school is getting really busy right now because we have our state tests coming up, but I can get through it, just thinking about summer....

I used an image from Meljen's Designs, this mouse was so cute, his name is Cheesy Mouse and I colored him with crayons and baby oil, it was something fun to use and different from the pencils. Now to make this card fun, I thought how about Swiss Cheese as a background for Cheesy.

Well, that is all for today, need to run to school, have a great day.

Oh yeah, my mom wanted me to let you know that since we are changing our tv/internet service if I go missing it is because our internet didn't make it through. My fingers are crossed because I do not want to me without internet or tv. Have a great day!

Apples for Everyone!

Hi Everyone,


Today for my card I really went with the green theme and when I was trying to think of an image I thought apples and no one really thinks to do green apples they always think oh apples are red! It reminded me more of a spring color. I also did tons of layers because I always do one or two layers but today I really worked with the cuttlebug and used different shades of green.

Now before I go on I would just like to say that I am switching to Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting next week,  because as I get closer to the major tests homework is piling on. But don't worry I will still have my blog and once I get to the summer I will be going back to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Today I am a little late but over the weekend was my older brothers birthday! I was very happy to talk to him because I don't talk to him as much now since he is at college. I hope he had fun on his special day because we are going to keep celabrating with this special card. So, for today I made a card called a Secret Message Card. You can find the tutorial on how to make the card at Stamps, Paper, Scissors.

When you open the card and push it in there will be a tab where you can open it for a little surprise.

Happy Belated Birthday!

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know it was Lucky's Birthday yesterday and he had a ton of fun! He was jumping for joy when we read him the sweet Happy Birthday comments. The only problem is I think Noel is a little jelous because she was just sitting around and when I came over she started to roll over and tried to act all cute but, when I grabbed the camera so I could show you guys she just went back to sitting. So, for her birthday in December I'll have to do something even better.

For my card today I made a birthday card for Lucky and it was my first time coloring with copics. I bet you were thinking wow all she ever uses prisma pencils + OMS well now I used copics so HA!  I thought that this was a cool layout and it worked out perfectly.

I just wanted to thank two special people The first person I wanted to thank is Kelly  for sending me a great little gift it made me feel really special. The second person I would like to thank is my mom. The reason I want to thank her because she's my insperation  and the reason I have this blog up and running And I love her. so, thank you to both you guys
